Be seen in MapleLine Magazine. In addition to promoting your business, service or event in the glossy bi-monthly magazine, your participation shows support for good news and great ideas in an ongoing conversation about the growth and changes in the Sooke community. Our ongoing health and arts sections are of value to all readers.

Reader retention is up to 2 months (of the face-date after release) or longer. Most readers indicate long-term periods of reading during times of relaxation. MapleLine excels at delivering accessible writing -- people read our stories all the way through and have a high content retention rate. Time spent with MapleLine includes time viewing your advertisement. The small dimensions of the publication encourage carrying the publication in briefcase, purse or tote bag.

ADVERTORIALS. We do not publish advertorials (i.e. ads in the form of articles) either online or in print, though we may seek advertisers whose products and services amplify the message or theme of feature articles.

RESTAURANT & FILM REVIEWS will be accepted for consideration in our ArtsinSooke.com website, but we reserve the right to decline any commentaries that are unduly negative or slanderous about our advertisers or any third party.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DECLINE any event listing, advertisement or sponsorship which in the opinion of the publisher does not serve the best interests of the publication, readership or community.

Sponsor an article page. Where a particular topic, theme or community issue is important to you or business, you can have your ad (with link) posted on an existing news-article page about that topic, and keywords about your business added to the code on that page. $95+HST for 12 months exposure (archived after 12 months, still searchable).

 7. BE A NEWSMAKER:

Create a custom article page. Be a newsmaker! Where a particular topic, theme or community issue is important to you or business, we can build a new article to promote that topic or issue. You are seen as the page sponsor. Search engine keywords about your business are added to the page. News updates may be made regularly to the page throughout a 12-month period. $295+HST for 12 months exposure (archived after 12 months, still searchable).

Payment accepted by cheque (payable to Brookeline Publishing House Inc.), Visa (no surcharge), MasterCard (no surcharge) American Express (1% surcharge), and Interac (in-store only). Advertisers located outside Canada will be invoiced in US dollars.

HST payable (12%) on all ads.

Print Ad Discount: Buy a print ad for 6 consecutive issues (pay for all 6 insertions up front) and get a 10% discount.

Non-Profits Discount Rate: Registered non-profit associations may request a first-insertion discount of 10% on standard advertising rates.
