Brookeline Publishing House Inc. (publisher of MapleLine Magazine) runs a news writing mentoring program for writers (adults age 17+) in Sooke, BC. The first year of the program ran October 2009 to June 2010. Registrations now being accepted for the 2010-2011 program; submit registration by September 23, workshops get rolling in October.
Paid subscriptions are one way to help support MapleLine Magazine in this journalism education venture and other education-related projects.
