All of a sudden, just West of Victoria, on Highway 14 here is... us, this sparkling community. Beautiful roadsides, water, forests and mountain views. There are coffee houses and pubs and restaurants and stores... it's gorgeous. Now. Imagine yourself in a floating balloon, softly going over the Sooke Basin and Harbour on a beautiful day. What we touch just being here is something very special. I'm sure it's a reason we claim "Volunteer Capital of Canada".

Appreciation is a reality here. To this day, many people say "Thank You" to the bus driver when getting off the bus. This shows me the degree of appreciation that our community has for itself.

Potentials can be looked at in a categorical sense and in some common words...

If there is respect there is communication.
All communication should be respectful.
Senses are what we use to analyze.
Be respectful of others when considering touching of their senses.
Awareness that your immediate environment is – Local and Regional.
All living creatures that cannot talk, exist, and are beings really alive. Life is Precious. Respect.

The Energy in and around the District of Sooke is incredible. Raw, Rural, Pure. Population increases are absolute. Communication in this generation is being able to choose how to communicate, text messaging, phone, video, face to face... Along the way... many of my roads have led to warm talks, handshakes, and even a few hugs.

Have good intent and end up where ever a good path might take you.
